McGuirk chosen as next CEO of electronics industry group

Dennis McGuirk will take over SEMI in November, replacing Stanley Myers, who led the association for 15 years Dennis McGuirk will succeed Stanley Myers as president and CEO of the $36M-revenue Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International in November, the organization announced Aug. 15. SEMI is a San Jose, Calif.-based association representing the manufacturing supply chains for the microelectronic, display and photovoltaic industries. Myers has been president of the organization for 15 years, but he announced his retirement in April.
